XPENG P7 to welcome the vehicle OTA
Recently, XPENG P7 ushered in a new version of the car system, Xmart OS corresponding version number 2.10.0.
This OTA for the previous user feedback in the community to focus on optimizing high-frequency problems, sound, 360°panoramic image and other cockpit experience for a comprehensive upgrade, including 6 new features and 8 experience optimization, to continue to evolve to create a more comfortable and intelligent travel experience.
Music cockpit quality evolves again with the new custom equalizer function.
One of the highlights of this OTA is to further optimize the sound and add a new equalizer function, which not only makes the intelligent music cabin a higher level of high-quality experience, but also meets users’ personalized needs for music.
The excellent audio system not only brings users a better music experience, but also enhances the pleasure of driving.
Through this OTA, XPENG P7 has updated the dynamic low-frequency algorithm based on the high-quality audio system professionally built by Danner Car Audio, and improved the brightness of the high and midrange, so that whether at rest or driving, the bass is rich and full, the treble is bright and transparent, and the sound is more layered; at the same time, in response to user demand, the effect of the roof speakers under the Danner sound has been optimized to make the music more three-dimensional in detail. The sound is also optimized to meet the needs of users.
After the upgrade, the XPENG P7 audio system will also add the EQ equalizer function, supporting users to independently adjust the sound effect according to their listening preferences.
The 9-band EQ applied to the P7 covers the audio range of 20-20,000Hz, with simulation optimization and support for positive and negative bi-directional adjustment. Compared to the traditional 2-4 band equalizer, the 9-band equalizer has a wider adjustment range, richer adjustable frequency bands, and more delicate tuning effects.
With the EQ equalizer, users can adjust the frequencies of 9 bands, such as sub-bass, bass, midrange, treble, and super treble, so as to adjust the tone and sound field and meet the personalized needs of thousands of users.
Optimized 360 image function, more peace of mind on narrow roads
Another practical function brought by this OTA is to upgrade the camera application to 360 image application and add narrow road assist function.
When the vehicle is close to the obstacle at low speed, the 360 image application will be automatically opened to facilitate the driver to view the 360-degree driving environment without any dead angle, and together with the original instrument information and sound alert, it can assist the driver to judge the distance between the vehicle and the obstacle more accurately, effectively avoiding the possible cutting and tailgating situation during driving on narrow roads such as alleyways, alleyways and old neighborhoods.
The function also supports the user to set the distance of the radar trigger distance, both veteran drivers and newcomers to the road, according to their driving habits to find the most comfortable “safe distance”.
In addition, in urban expressways, highways and other scenarios with high speed and large vehicle spacing, users can also set the steering wheel custom button to quickly and manually call out 360 images, all-round observation of the surrounding driving environment, to improve the safety factor of overtaking and driving.
Improve a number of cockpit function experience, evolve into a better intelligent coupe
In the cabin details, XPENG Auto also actively listen to user suggestions to further improve the car experience, so that the P7 evolved into a better and more understanding intelligent coupe.
After the upgrade, users can more easily control the functions of the car through the steering wheel buttons, for example, when parking, you can use the back button to exit the parking page; when charging can directly use the left button to adjust the temperature and air volume of the air conditioning, even in full-screen mode can also be adjusted to a comfortable state.
The new version also adds the “lower volume when navigating” switch, which supports users to choose whether to lower the media volume when navigating; the storage space management function is online and the instrument time display is optimized to facilitate users to more accurately grasp the vehicle usage status; and the air conditioning start-up logic and meditation space experience are optimized.

Up to now, it has achieved the 15th OTA for P7 with new functions, adding 140 leading functions and 200 experience optimizations, making the smart car truly new and better as it is used.
