According to news on July 24, Jeep announced today that all models of the new Wrangler are officially launched, including 2.0T gasoline version and 2.0T plug-in hybrid 4xe version.
The manufacturer’s guide price starts at 499,900 RMB.
The new Wrangler maintains Jeep’s classic round lights and seven-hole grille design in appearance, but the height of the front grille is adjusted so that it is basically flush with the front edge of the front fender, and the width of the vertical banner inside the front grille is narrowed.
Jeep says this is done to make it easier to install the stock Warn winch (optional on Rubicon models).
The new Wrangler 2.0T gasoline version can provide 10 body colors, four of which are new colors.
At the same time, the interior of the new Wrangler is only available in an all-black color scheme.

The new Wrangler has installed a new 12.3-inch touch-sensitive central control screen on the interior, matching the Uconnect 5 multimedia system, which improves the sense of technology and operational convenience.
At the same time, the new Wrangler also adds some configurations, such as an off-road invisible antenna integrated into the windshield, mobile phone wireless interconnection, front/second row side air curtains (all series), forward collision warning system, advanced adaptive cruise control system with automatic follow-up function, optimized voice recognition system and 12-way electric adjustable front seats, etc.
It is worth mentioning that the new Wrangler 4xe models also have a new external discharge function, equipped with four 120-volt power outlets with a total output power of 30 amps.
The petrol version of the new Wrangler is available in Sahara and Rubicon.
Among them, Rubicon has stronger off-road performance in suspension and drive system than Sahara, such as Rock-Trac Active On-Demand professional intelligent four-wheel drive system, Dana M210 Wide HD Tube front axle, Dana 44 M220 Wide Full Float full floating rear axle, front/rear axle TRU-LOK electronically controlled differential lock, electronically controlled front stabilizer bar disconnect function, off-road + mode, transfer case 4:1 low gear ratio etc.
In terms of configuration, Rubicon also adds adaptive high beams, side skirt steel protective bars, Rubicon exclusive Nappa leather seats, AUX control panel, Alpine 9-speaker audio system with subwoofer, etc.
It is worth mentioning that the new Wrangler Rubicon is upgraded to a Dana 44 M220 full floating solid heavy duty rear axle.
According to Jeep, the maximum towing mass of the new Wrangler Rubicon 2.0T / 3.6-liter engine automatic transmission model with a fully floating solid heavy-duty rear axle has been increased to 5000 pounds (about 2268 kg).
In terms of power, the new Wrangler gasoline version is equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 195 kilowatts and a peak torque of 405 Nm.
Compared with the old model, the peak torque has increased by 5 Nm, and the maximum power remains unchanged.
The drivetrain is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The new Wrangler 4xe is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 2.0T engine and front/rear dual motors.
The system has a combined power of 276 kilowatts and a combined torque of 637 Nm.
The NEDC pure electric cruising range is 55 kilometers.
The transmission system is matched with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The new Wrangler is Jeep’s classic model and a favorite of off-road enthusiasts.
While not changing its hard-core off-road character, the new Wrangler has added more technological configurations and comfort, as well as a more environmentally friendly plug-in hybrid version, providing consumers with more choices.
