2023 Intel Upgrade Driver Assistance will Partnership with Volkswagen

Intel Upgrade
According to news on May 18, today, Porsche, a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, announced that future models will adopt the SuperVision technology platform of Intel’s Mobileye, becoming the second automaker to adopt SuperVision after Geely Automobile.
Driver Assistance
The SuperVision platform combines CMOS, LiDAR, and driver monitoring sensors with the EyeQ 6 processor that processes the data input from the sensors.
This platform can support various assisted driving functions of Porsche’s future models, including the driver not having to personally control the steering wheel on certain types of road sections, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, automatic braking and emergency steering avoidance, etc.
Mobileye calls the SuperVision platform a bridge to consumer self-driving vehicles, and sees SuperVision becoming the company’s main driver of growth in 2023.
The three sub-brands of Geely Group plan to launch electric vehicles equipped with the SuperVision platform globally in 2023. In the future, through OTA upgrades, Jikr 001 users can unlock all the functions of SuperVision.
Driven by demand in the Chinese market, the number of vehicles equipped with the SuperVision platform is expected to reach 1.2 million in 2026, Mobileye said.
Analysts estimate that by 2026, Mobileye will generate 27 percent of its revenue from the SuperVision platform.
