NETA Motors announced to enter the Indonesian market

NETA Motors officially announced to enter the Indonesian market, introducing NETA S / U-II / V three models.

According to the news on August 10, NETA Motor officially announced today that it has officially entered the Indonesian market.

Its three models, NETA S, NETA U-II, and NETA V, made their debut at the Indonesia International Auto Show.

It is said that Airlangga Hartarto, the Coordinating Minister of Economic Affairs of Indonesia, and his party came to the NETA Auto booth to learn about NETA Auto’s globalization strategy and experience “overseas best-selling models”.

It is worth noting that the small SUV model NETA V won the “sales crown” of pure electric vehicles in June in Thailand, with a total of 2,025 units sold that month.

Previously, models such as NETA V and NETA U also landed in the Jordanian market in June this year, and the foundation stone of NETA Automobile’s ecological smart factory in Thailand was officially laid in late March this year.

It is said that NETA Automobile has established a European business department and a Thai subsidiary, and its overseas market covers ASEAN, South Asia, and the Middle East.

According to previous reports, Indonesian Investment Minister Bahlil Lahadalia said at a press conference late last month that BYD, Wuling Motors and other electric vehicle manufacturers will build factories in Indonesia.

He also revealed that the Indonesian government is considering more tax incentives to attract electric car makers.

The Chinese brand models currently on sale in the Indonesian market include but are not limited to the following models: Wuling Air EV (corresponding to the domestic model is Wuling Qingkong), Wuling Almaz Hybrid (corresponding to the domestic model is Baojun 530), and BYD ATTO3 (corresponding to the domestic model is BYD Yuan PLUS) and the pure electric bus BYD K9, etc.

Great Wall Motor landed in the Indonesian market

Great Wall Motor landed in the Indonesian market, and a variety of smart new energy vehicles were unveiled at the Indonesian Auto Show.

According to the news on August 10, at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show 2023 today, Great Wall Motor officially launched the GWM brand for the Indonesian market, including Tank 500 HEV, Haval H6 HEV, Haval JOLION HEV and Euler Haomao, etc. models unveiled.

Great Wall Motor stated that Indonesia is the ninth country market for Great Wall Motor to enter the ASEAN region.

This is an important step in the development of the GWM brand and a manifestation of Great Wall Motor’s long-term commitment to the regional market.

The editor found that the entry into Indonesia this time is the latest move by Great Wall Motor to deeply cultivate Southeast Asia.

At present, Great Wall Motor has started business in Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia and Brunei.

Great Wall Motor recently released the production and sales data for July.

It sold 109,091 new cars in the month, a year-on-year increase of 7.03%; new energy models sold 28,920 vehicles, accounting for 26.51% of sales, both hitting new highs;

Overseas sales exceeded 20,000 vehicles in 5 months.
