The biggest new highlight of the car is that it is equipped with Baidu Apollo pilot assisted driving, which claims to have “industry-leading” intelligent parking capabilities, and supports parking in and out of various complex parking spaces.
Dongfeng Motor said that the intelligent driving system has been verified by more than 60 million kilometers of test mileage, and it has the function of navigating assisted driving (NOA) and man-machine co-driving maps, including full-speed intelligent cruise control, automatic on-ramp and the world’s first intelligent entry and exit service area assistance.
In addition to driving assistance, in terms of parking, the new Voyah FREE supports full-stance automatic parking, one-button remote parking, memory parking and remote calling functions.
In terms of power control, the new Voyah FREE comes standard with dual-motor intelligent four-wheel drive with 160kW front and 200kW rear, as well as front double-wishbone rear multi-link aluminum alloy chassis and air suspension.
In terms of battery life, the car uses a 1.5T deep Miller cycle range extender, which claims to have a thermal efficiency of more than 42%, meets the National VI b emission standards, and further reduces fuel consumption and power consumption on the basis of taking into account the “4-second level” acceleration level.

According to previous reports, the new Voyah FREE has been declared by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
The vehicle has a length, width and height of 4905×1950×1660/1645 mm, a wheelbase of 2960 mm, and a vehicle weight of 2270 kg.
The new car adopts a 1.5T range-extended plug-in hybrid system, equipped with dual motors of 160 kW in the front and 200 kW in the rear.
The range extender is provided by Dongan Power, and the model is DAM15NTDE.
