The interior of WEY Alpine MPV model is announced: it is equipped with double-suspension zero-gravity massage seats and a car refrigerator.
According to news on July 19, Great Wall Motors has announced that the first high-end MPV under the WEY brand, the Alpine DHT-PHEV, will be launched in August, and the official interior map of the new car has been released.
This model has made its debut at the previous Shanghai Auto Show.
It is the first MPV model under the WEY brand.
The new car will be equipped with a DHT-PHEV system consisting of a 1.5T engine and a P4 motor.
It is expected to be priced at 350,000-400,000 RMB.
The new car adopts a flat floor, a super-long common rail design for the second and third rows, an all-aluminum five-link suspension, and an electric four-wheel drive hybrid architecture.
According to reports, the slide rails of this model are as long as 1845mm, and the maximum room for the legs of the second row can reach 1166mm; the height of the seat cushion for the third row is 350mm, the room for the legs is 962mm, the room for the head is 887mm, and the room for the elbows is 1593mm.
In addition, the third row of WEY Alpine also adopts the split butterfly seat design, which can realize the unique 4/6 split Tip-Up seat folding function of the same class, making the seat combination more flexible.
The maximum capacity of the organ-style luggage can reach 1725L.
According to reports, WEY Alpine is equipped with a double-suspended zero-gravity massage seat.
The angle between the torso and legs is 127°, and the angle between the thigh and calf is 132°, which can reduce the pressure difference between various parts of the body and the heart.
It also has a one-button zero-gravity/reset function, and comes standard with 10-point massage/ventilation/heating functions.
At the same time, the new car also provides a 12.5L car-mounted independent compressor refrigerator, which can adjust the temperature of 0-50°C, and adopts a design of upper and lower double layers, front and rear double openings, which meets the convenience of the driver and rear members, and can place 14 bottles of standard-sized cans at one time.
The WEY brand
According to reports, the WEY brand will make full efforts in the second half of the year and will launch three new models, one of which is the MPV model Takayama, followed by a new Latte model equipped with Hi4 hybrid technology in September, and a new large SUV in November.
The WEY brand “Alpine” has appeared in the declaration list of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
The size of the new car is 5045/1960/1900mm, the wheelbase is 3085mm, and the curb weight is 2610/2730kg.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a plug-in hybrid system composed of a 1.5T engine of the model E15BD produced by Great Wall Motor Co., Ltd., with a maximum power of 115 kilowatts, equipped with a ternary lithium battery provided by Honeycomb Energy.
As a brand-new new energy MPV product, Alpine is actually quite difficult to create a brand new route in a relatively stable market.
The fuel vehicle market is currently dominated by Buick GL8 and GAC Trumpchi M8.
In the new energy MPV market, only Denza D9 has completed the cognition of subverting the industry.
Although more and more consumers intend to focus on new energy MPVs, if Alpine wants to break out in new energy MPVs, the first hurdle to overcome is Denza D9.
