And Didi Autonomous Driving Company signed a deepened cooperation agreement to jointly release the unmanned new energy mass-produced vehicle project – “AIDI plan” and announced the establishment of a joint venture.
According to reports, this is the first time that the two parties have announced the progress of their cooperation after GAC Aian and Didi Autonomous Driving signed a strategic cooperation in 2021.
According to the AIDI plan, GAC Aian and Didi Autopilot will establish a joint venture company to jointly define and mass-produce shared travel L4 driverless new energy vehicles, and promote the ecological construction of driverless travel at full speed.
The first mass-produced model will be based on GAC Aian’s AEP3.0 pure electric platform, Xingling electronic and electrical architecture, and multi-integrated perception autonomous driving mass production technology, equipped with Didi’s autonomous driving L4 urban generalization engine and unique travel service-oriented autonomous vehicles. The mass-produced car will be connected to Didi’s shared travel network in 2025, and it is claimed to be able to realize all-weather, large-scale mixed order dispatching, and promote the accelerated implementation of L4 commercialization.
