On May 6th, BMW Group MINI issued a press release announcing the details of the 2024 MINI Cooper E and MINI Cooper SE two electric vehicles.
According to reports, the 2024 MINI Cooper E electric car is equipped with a 40.1kWh battery and has a range of 300 kilometers (183 miles); the MINI Cooper SE will be equipped with a 54.2kWh battery and has a range of 400 kilometers (248 miles).
The 2024 MINI Cooper E / Cooper SE adopts a new electrical system design, which increases the interior space by placing the battery at the bottom of the frame and eases the cramped feeling of car owners.
In addition to increasing the interior space, MINI also provides a more interesting and engaging driving experience through a lower center of gravity. The 2024 MINI Cooper E has 135 kW (181 hp), and the Cooper SE has 160 kW (214 hp) in a front-drive design.
