According to news, Vlv Cars sold 12,485 units in mainland China in April this year, a year-on-year increase of 46.3% and a month-on-month increase of 8.1%.


Among them, Volvo XC60 sold 4,449 units, a year-on-year increase of 43%; Volvo XC90 sales were 1,595 units, a year-on-year increase of 28%; Volvo S90 sales were 3,096 units, a year-on-year increase of 119%.


According to previous reports, Vlv is speeding up its electrification transformation and released the Vlv EX90 based on a new native pure electric platform in April.

The car is positioned as a medium and large SUV and offers 5/6/7 seat layouts, The “Thor’s Hammer” headlight group uses a mechanical opening and closing mechanism inside, the side frame is blackened, and there are hidden door handles, low wind resistance wheels and other designs.


The EX90 is equipped with Luminar lidar: 5 body radars, 8 cameras, 16 ultrasonic sensors with a wavelength of 1550nm and a maximum detection distance of 600m. It can detect pedestrians 250 meters ahead at night, which is equivalent to a 7.5-second early warning when driving at 120Km/h.


The EX90 adopts a new-generation cage body structure, the overall torsional rigidity is 50% higher than that of the Vlv XC90, and the collision energy absorption capacity is increased by 20%. The boron steel upper cover and aluminum alloy frame are used to ensure that the battery pack does not participate in energy absorption.


The EX90 is equipped with dual motors with a maximum horsepower of 517 horsepower, and can accelerate from zero to 100 in 4.9 seconds; it has a built-in 100KWh battery pack, supports bidirectional charging, and has a cruising range of 650km under CLTC comprehensive conditions.
