
Lucid Gravity SUV electric car begins road testing in the US

News on April 26, according to media reports, with the start of public road testing, electric car manufacturer Lucid Group’s second model, the Lucid Gravity SUV, is close to production.
The Lucid Group aims to become a serious player in the electric vehicle market, and the development of the Gravity SUV is an important step towards this goal.
According to media reports, the car can seat up to seven passengers, has a high-resolution display and runs a new version of Lucid UX software, a custom Android-based infotainment system that includes built-in maps and voice controls.
On Tuesday, the Lucid Group released two new photos and a teaser video of the upcoming luxury vehicle, announcing that it has entered “a new phase of development” and is being tested on public roads in the United States.
The luxury electric SUV is one step closer to mass production as the Lucid Group officially begins road testing the Gravity SUV.
While pricing for the Lucid Gravity SUV hasn’t been announced, it’s expected to top the Lucid Air’s $100,000 minimum. The SUV will compete with Tesla’s Model X, Audi’s e-Tron and Mercedes-Benz’s EQC.
